Group Program FAQs

What training equipment do I need for this program?

The training equipment I suggest for the best experience is:

  • (1) Kettlebell or Dumbbell for upper body movements, usually between 12 - 18 lbs
  • (1) Kettlebell or Dumbbell for lower body movements, usually between 20 - 35 lbs
  • Resistance bands that can be anchored to a door or wall (multiple resistances are useful)
  • Bonus equipment: box, step, or bench; pull-up bar; light dumbbells (3-6 lbs); any cardio equipment you enjoy (bike, elliptical, etc.)

Can I do another fitness training program at the same time?

This program is 8 weeks long and it looks simple on paper, but it isn’t easy! When starting a fitness or nutrition change, a common mistake is that people try to do too much, mixing multiple programs and workouts at a time to "cram it all in" which can actually lead to less adaptation from your body, more stress than you can recover from and ultimately block fat loss. This amount of work will be plenty and if you are looking to make changes to your body, more isn’t always better. Give the 8 weeks a shot, and then build from there.

What types of workouts will I do?

Depending on your previous workout experience, you’ll be placed in different tracks that include a mix of light cardio and strength training days. The strength training workouts are split into days that focus on different movement patterns, and include warm-ups, core work, and conditioning. 

Is it only workouts?

No! You’ll receive a weekly workout schedule, but this program focuses on nutrition, mindset, and education to give you all the tools for well-rounded health. It’s about gaining strength not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
