I struggle with accountability. Is there a personal accountability component here?

A big part of how I set up the course is to help with accountability, specifically staying accountable to yourself. This tends to be a common hurdle, so I have built in weekly check ins that create that accountability to self. You’ll take it week by week and make decisions based on how well you stayed on track to inform the upcoming weeks goals/ expectations. It is literally the exact same process I use with all my 1:1 coaching clients that works very well.

Is this a digital app based program, or more paper based?

Yes, it is all app based. You will have your own account and all the information you need and actions you need to take will be scheduled out for you to complete. (This ties back into the accountability factor). There will also be resources (Guides, lists, recipes, etc) available on the app, and you can easily download these to your devices, and can print them if you so choose. You will also receive access to a macro and calorie calculator that is hosted on Google sheets, therefore a google account is necessary to use this resource. The app is a phone based app and a desktop version is not available at this time.

It sounds like the program is largely self-study? Are you available if I have questions?

Yes, it is largely self study. While I can appreciate that coaching and an outside perspective can be a useful tool (it’s the largest part of my business, after all) I am also very much a “teach them to fish” person, which is part of what this course was born out of. With that said, YES! You have access to me for questions through a community forum. The app is where the community forum is hosted, it basically feels like a Facebook group, but it’s only within the app. You can post questions, pictures, videos, etc. And I can do the same!

I struggle with consistency. Will this help?

When we struggle with consistency it usually stems from an inability to quantify how consistent we actually are. If we don't have good data, how can we make good decisions? You will learn how to pay attention to and quantify alcohol intake, weekend over eating, etc. so you can see if you are moving closer or further away from what you intend to do. Building routine, habit, and consistency is at the heart of this course.

The quantitative nature of macros brings about more awareness about how consistent we are with things like alcohol intake, weekend over eating, etc. It allows us to look at these things and see if we are moving closer or further away from what we intend to do. That can be really hard to do without some good data to help us see what’s really going on. This is part of why macros are so helpful!

Will I use a macros tracker app?

I100% recommend you use a macro tracking app, and I have a favorite (by a long shot) for a very specific reason - the analysis of the data it offers. It is above and beyond usual apps like myfitnesspal. I do recommend you get the paid version, but it is not mandatory, it just makes it easier. If you decide to get the paid version it is $8.99 per month and I have a discount code that can give you 10% off that price. You could absolutely use a different macro tracker if you’d like to, but you’ll see pretty clearly WHY I recommend the one I do once you use it. (There is also a free trial available so you can try it out before you actually commit to paying for it.)

I've been tracking macros for a little while but I'm not sure if I'm using the right numbers. Will this course help me feel more certain about what macros are right for me?
